This listing is for a set of TWO cowhide pillows. You will get the exact pillows shown in the photos. The 24x24 feather inserts used have been perfectly paired with these covers for a luxurious, over-stuffed, designer look + feel. They do not collapse when you lean against them as most feather pillows do. However, you may choose to purchase only the covers and use your own inserts.
The finished size of the pillows are approx 20x20
The front side of the pillows is genuine, designer quality, cowhide, and the back side is top grain, buttery smooth, leather. The leather side will show marks and scratches that can be buffed or rubbed out easily. This is the nature of top grain leather and is NOT a flaw (it’s how you know it’s GOOD leather!! :))
Here at the Providence Story I do not throw away leather that has marks and scars unless they interfere with the functionality or quality of the leather (holes mainly). I’ve always been a fan of natural beauty and I choose to incorporate it into my work rather than discarding signs of life. The cowhide may show marks and/or small scars that the animal endured during its lifetime.
